SECURITY SPECIALIST

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for overseeing and implementing the safety and security measures of the Villages of Hope campus.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma and six months relevant experience
  • Strong general knowledge of security and safety resources
  • Flexibility to facilitate campus-wide safety and security responsibilities
  • Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Oversee campus-wide safety and security initiatives for the residential and campus life aspects of the independent living program.
  • Maintain all locks/security measures on campus. Immediately alert appropriate staff of any malfunctioning security measures.
  • Be responsible for all keys to secured areas (such as office, medication cabinets, hazardous materials storage, vehicles, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Ensure all components of the campus with clients, donors, volunteers, and vendors are handled with excellence and meet standards and policies.
  • Maintain all required trainings within required timeframe.
  • Manage day to day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of the administrative offices, functions and other support staff, as well as interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers.
  • Manage purchasing for residential cottages.

SECURITY GUARD – PART TIME

POSITION PURPOSE

    THERAPIST

    POSITION PURPOSE

    Responsible for providing therapeutic services and supporting the needs for clients within the program.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master’s degree in social work or related area of study and two years relevant experience
    • Registered intern with the State of Florida.
    • General knowledge of compliance requirements, child and youth development and the child welfare system. Experience working with children, families, and young adults with emotional disturbances, trauma, and abuse/neglect issues.
    • Flexibility to oversee and coordinate various program responsibilities.
    • Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Abide by independent living policies.
    • Maintain all required trainings within required timeframe.
    • Responsible for meeting and ensuring all therapeutic needs for clients within the program.
    • Manage all components of quality assurance and regulation compliance as it relates to providing therapeutic services to clients within the program.
    • Maintain and manage all client files, applicable paperwork, and documentation within all established time frames.
    • Attend in-service workshops and training programs.
    • Attend in person therapy services with children and their families.
    • Implement and follow all program policies.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and think critically.
    • Must meet regularly for supervision.
    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and overall administrative skills.
    • The ability to work independently while functioning as part of a cooperative and coordinated team.

    • Strong general knowledge of community resources and independent living objectives
    • Flexibility to handle various independent living responsibilities
    • Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

     

    PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Oversee the independent living program implementation.
    • Evaluate and provide direction for individualized client plans.
    • Abide by independent living policies.
    • Ensure all components of the program with clients, donors, volunteers, and vendors are handled with excellence and meet standards and policies.
    • Maintain all required trainings within required timeframe.
    • Manage day to day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of the administrative offices, functions and other support staff, as well as interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers.
    • Ensure access to necessary resources and community supports for all clients.

    PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

     

    POSITION PURPOSE

    • Responsible for compliance with all requirements of IL program and supporting the program needs of residents within the program. 

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study or equivalent field experience and three years of relevant experience
    • Strong general knowledge of community resources and independent living objectives. 
    • Flexibility to oversee and coordinate various program responsibilities
    • Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook

     

    PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Manage all components of quality assurance and program compliance.
    • Update and track all IL documentation on the VOH server.
    • Responsible for meeting and ensuring all IL needs for residents within the program.
    • Maintain compliance with policies, training requirements, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocols at all times.
    • Attend in-service workshops and training programs.
    • Implement and follow all program policies.
    • Demonstrate ability to independently analyze and think critically.

    • Tracks VOH stats and stats for all residents.
    • Assistant to the Director of Villages of Hope.
    • Coordinates all of Christmas.
    • Creates all itineraries for new program staff.
